Leonardo DiCaprio’s Stunning Real Estate Portfolio

Leonardo DiCaprio real estate holdings reflect his decades-long career and substantial fortune. The actor, whose films have grossed over $7.2 billion worldwide, owns diverse properties—from sprawling Hollywood compounds to a private island in Belize. Beyond acting, he invests in ventures like Appian Way, Champagne Telmont, Beyond Meat, and Califia Farms. In addition, he supports sustainable startups and clean-tech brands. Recently, he became a global ambassador for Rolex, adding another dimension to his portfolio.

DiCaprio’s Hollywood Hills compound is the crown jewel of his holdings. Purchased in the ’90s, it began with two neighboring homes above Sunset Strip, including one bought from Madonna. The 4,600-square-foot main house features a basketball court, wine cellar, infinity pool, and underground garage. Over the years, he expanded it with a screening room, spa, solar upgrades, and landscaped parcels. Today, the estate totals roughly five acres across multiple adjoining properties, creating a celebrity-worthy mega-compound.

In New York, DiCaprio owns apartments at the Riverhouse in Manhattan’s Battery Park City. The eco-forward building includes solar panels, filtered air, water treatment, a yoga studio, lap pool, billiards room, playroom, and dog spa. He purchased his first unit in 2008 for $3.67 million and added a neighboring unit in 2014 for $8 million. Combined, the two units offer nearly 5,000 square feet plus 1,000 square feet of outdoor space with Hudson River views.

In 2014, DiCaprio bought a midcentury modern estate in Palm Springs for $5.23 million. Built by Donald Wexler for Dinah Shore, the 7,000-square-foot home includes six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a guest house, pool, tennis court, and detached gym on 1.3 acres. Since 2016, the property has been available as a vacation rental. Guests enjoy floor-to-ceiling glass walls, wood-paneled ceilings, and striking stone finishes for roughly $3,750 per night.

In Los Feliz, he purchased Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Spanish Colonial home in 2021 for $7.1 million. Built in 1928, the nearly 5,000-square-foot property mixes vintage glamour with modern upgrades. Dark teal walls, tweed wallpaper, and a birdcage chandelier enhance the interiors. Outside, a courtyard with fairy lights, a teal-tiled pool, and Juliet balconies create a striking setting.

DiCaprio’s Malibu home, bought in July 2021 for $13.75 million, sits on a low bluff with private steps to El Sol Beach. The 3,300-square-foot, four-bedroom, five-bath residence includes multiple decks and abundant natural light. It is now listed for $23 million. In Beverly Hills, he owns a 5,000-square-foot traditional home purchased in December 2021 for $9.9 million. Built in 1936, it combines old Hollywood charm with modern finishes, including a gourmet kitchen, marble accents, a pool, guesthouse, fire pit lounge, and outdoor dining terrace.

Finally, DiCaprio owns Blackadore Caye, a 104-acre private island in Belize. He plans to transform it into an eco-resort, reflecting his long-standing environmental advocacy. Across coasts and continents, Leonardo DiCaprio real estate combines luxury, sustainability, and strategic investment, blending private retreats with eco-conscious projects.
