DJ Fisher and his wife Chloe have sold the first apartment in their $50 million luxury project on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Moreover, this early sale signals strong market confidence in their vision.

The development, named Pescado, sits on the Palm Beach waterfront. It will feature six full-floor residences and a two-level penthouse. Each home offers stunning ocean views, “house-size” proportions, and a private balcony.
Listings start at $5.95 million. A local Gold Coast family bought the first unit, though they did not disclose the price. “It’s exciting to see the market responding,” Fisher told The Courier-Mail. “This will be an iconic development for Palm Beach.”
He credited the project’s momentum to strong local partnerships. Specifically, YLB Developments worked closely with BDA Architecture and top-tier sales and construction teams. As a result, they redesigned the building to enhance livability and value.
Key upgrades include an extra basement car park, more storage, expanded amenities, and smarter layouts. Furthermore, every residence features a spacious open-plan design and an al fresco living area.
Fisher began assembling the beachfront site years ago. In 2020, he bought the first lot for $2.1 million. Then, in 2023, he acquired the neighboring parcel for $3.1 million—bringing his total land investment to $5.2 million.
Development approval came in August 2024. Since then, construction has moved forward steadily. The team expects completion by mid-2026.
Meanwhile, the Fishers are celebrating personal joy alongside professional success. In August, they announced they are expecting their second child in 2026. After enduring eight rounds of IVF and four miscarriages, they welcomed daughter Bobbi in 2024.
“Our second little miracle is on the way,” they posted on Instagram. “After everything it took to get here, we know how fragile and precious this gift is.”
Therefore, Pescado represents more than a real estate venture—it reflects their growing legacy. With early sales momentum and premium positioning, the DJ Fisher Gold Coast development is poised to become a landmark in Palm Beach’s luxury market.
Consequently, both critics and buyers now watch closely as this high-profile project reshapes the Gold Coast skyline.
