L.A. Home with Ties to Iconic Pink’s Hot Dogs Hits the Market for the First Time

A unique piece of Los Angeles history is up for grabs as a Mid-Century Modern home in Tarzana, linked to the legendary Pink’s Hot Dogs, is listed for $1.75 million. This is the first time the 1969-built property has ever been on the market.

Spanning about 2,500 square feet, the well-preserved split-level home boasts three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a spacious primary suite with its own terrace and private climate control. Much of the home remains true to its original design, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the past while maintaining impeccable upkeep.

The home was originally owned by Alfred and Beatrice Blonsky, whose daughter, Gloria, married Richard Pink, the son of Pink’s Hot Dogs’ founders. After their passing, Gloria Pink and her sister, Rosey Polidora, retained the family residence.

“A lot of it is original, but it’s immaculate and clean,” said listing agent Andrew Manning of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.

The property features a living room with a fireplace, exposed-beam ceilings, a kitchen with a cozy breakfast nook, and an office with a wet bar that leads out to a serene backyard patio. While the home doesn’t include a pool, the Asian-inspired landscaping with rare trees and succulents creates a tranquil, resort-like vibe—with space to install a pool if desired.

Set within the Braemar Estates community, the home offers mountain and valley views and is a short walk to scenic hiking trails—perfect for those who love nature and nostalgia.

Pink’s Hot Dogs, founded in 1939 by Betty and Paul Pink, remains a Los Angeles institution known for celebrity-inspired hot dogs. Its influence has expanded to locations in Las Vegas and the Philippines, solidifying its place in pop culture.

Although Gloria Pink wasn’t available for comment, the home stands as a timeless reflection of L.A.’s culinary and architectural heritage.
